Hanna Boguta - MarchelM.A.

In 2003 she received an MA in the Institute of English Studies, University of Warsaw (master's thesis entitled "From Cotton Mather to the Cyberpunk Novel : The Puritan Vision and its Bearings on Latter-day America" written under the supervision of prof. dr hab. Agata Preis-Smith) and in 2004 - an MA at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Warsaw. Presently, she is a second year doctoral student at the American Literature Section of the Institute of English Studies. The project of her doctoral thesis concerns metaphysical issues and spiritual matters as dealt with in the novels of Cormac McCarthy and read in the light of various theories of evil as well as from the perspective of negative theology. She teaches English at the University of Warsaw.
