- Oct 1995 - May 2000: doctoral studies. Warsaw University - Institute of English Studies. Specialisation: British literature and culture. Thesis: From Melodrama to a Popular Classic - the Change of Literary Status of Gaston Leroux's The Phantom of the Opera in English-language Cultures.
- Oct 1990 - June 1995: MA studies. Warsaw University - Institute of English Studies. Specialisation: British literature and culture. Scholarship for good results. Thesis: Christopher Marlowe's Edward II - aspects of individual and political relationships reworked by twentieth century authors.
Employment at Warsaw University:
- Feb 2005 to date - Warsaw University, Department of West European Languages and Cultures (SFK-EZ). Deputy director responsible for co-ordination of the Department's teaching programme (comprising elements of 5 philologies: English, German, French, Spanish and Italian)
- Oct 1995 to date - Warsaw University, Institute of English Studies. Oct 1995 - Sept 2000 as a doctoral student. Since Oct 2000 - full-time employee.

Participation in 9 international conferences. Short library scholarships (Oxford 1995, Glasgow 1997, Paris 2002). Languages: English (fluent), French (advanced), Russian (intermediate), Italian, German (elementary).
Since 1991 - multiple experiences in translation (written and oral) and teaching (EFL, Business English).
