Research interests:
- Syntax and semantics of Modern English (also treated contrastively, in comparison with Modern Polish). In particular: the semantics of adjective comparison, generic use of determiners, conditional sentences, categorization of verbs, the grammar and pragmatics of forms of address (in English and Polish)
- The influence of English upon Polish, both at the lexical and the syntactic level
- C. Second-language acquisition and learning (in particular, computer-assisted language learning)
Awards, medals, and orders:
- A share in a collective second-class award of the Minister of Education: 1965. Individual award (third-class) of the Minister of Education: 1985
