| The methodology of teaching ESP for Business is reviewed with special emphasis on what Business English is, where it is taught, its resources, and performance objectives and levels. The methods of performing job analysis and determining the contents of a BE course are analysed, followed by methods of information gathering. BE course books and videos, business publications and authentic materials for teaching BE are reviewed and evaluated. Some techniques of managing activites in the BE classroom are demonstrated. Business skills are illustrated with a selection of video episodes featuring typical business situations.Course requirements: Presentations on selected aspects of teaching BE and a written paper.
