Moje zainteresowania naukowe dotyczą językoznawstwa teoretycznego i opisowego, a przede wszystkim badań nad semantyczną wartością struktur gramatycznych prowadzonych w ramach teorii gramatyki kognitywnej stworzonej i rozwijanej przez Ronalda W. Langackera. Szczegółowe obszary badawcze, które obecnie stanowią centrum moich zainteresowań to:

• semantyka polskiego aspektu czasownikowego
• model języka oparty na uzusie językowym, a w szczególności jego implikacje dla modelu akwizycji języka
• analiza dyskursu w ramach teorii gramatyki kognitywnej, a w szczególności tych struktur językowych, które w dyskursie używane są jako ukryte narzędzia dynamicznego negocjowania relacji pomiędzy mówiącym a słuchaczem
